WHERE MY SAFETY RESTS

Intentional design leads to empowerment and prevention of re-traumatizing those who have already experienced so much trauma.

Realizing how your physical environment affects identity, worth, and dignity, and how it promotes empowerment.

Recognizing that the physical environment has an impact on attitude, mood, and behavior because there is a strong link between our physiological state, our emotional state, and the physical environment.

It was a pleasure working with Karina and James on our living room in our home. Karina inquired about what kind of design, feel, and function I wanted for the space, and she went diligently to work to find just the right things. She kept in touch with me regarding each step of the project, and graciously offered alternate suggestions when I needed them. James worked closely with Karina to quickly to complete the project ahead of schedule. The space turned out more beautiful than I had anticipated. We love it. I would highly recommend working alongside this creative team!
